  • Avoid jargon
  • Write positively

SPECIFIC PREFERENCES

  • Use Oxford Comma
  • Never put full stops in lists
  • Use sentence case (the first letter of a sentence is capitalized when writing product copy)
  • Use Title Case for Headlines 
  • Use AP style for blogs
  • Spell out a number when it begins in a sentence. Otherwise, use the numeral. This includes ordinals.
  • Use camelcase for product names (mojoXpress, mojoCapital)
  • Generally, spell out the day of the week and the month. Abbreviate only if space is an issue in the app.
